Countless children globally have lost their parents and families, and it is now more than ever a call for those of us with abundant resources at our disposal to stand up and lend a hand. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “the custodian of an orphan and I will be like this on the day of judgement”. He then showed his index and middle finger together with only a slight gap in between.
This caring for the orphan came about from the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) who was himself an orphan and encouraged his companions to also care for orphans.
There are countless orphan care and sponsorship schemes and programmes but these are often within an orphanage setting where their mental and emotional well-being is all too often overlooked. There is clear evidence that shows that failing to reintegrate orphans into society contributes to a higher risk of social exclusion, becoming homeless, engaging in criminal activities and committing suicide.
Therefore our Orphan care programme is designed to fulfil the Sunnah model of ensuring all orphans are taken into homes and shown the same level of care and concern for the physical, mental and emotional well-being as that shown to our own children and our parents. This was the situation in the traditional Muslim world.
All orphans under our care are within a home setting complete with a warm bed to sleep at night, healthy food to eat, loving caretakers, clean clothes to wear, access to education and so on.
For Just £360 per year, show an orphan you care and ultimately unite with our beloved Prophet on the day of judgement (ﷺ).
Alternatively choose to support an orphan for £30 per month or contribute any to our orphan fund and reward is from Allah ﷻ.
We are currently working in numerous countries worldwide and your donation will be allocated on a priority need basis.
