Private fundraising campaigns for you and your family

Charity starts at home.  We know this.  Our prophet (PBUH) teaches us this.

This Ramadan, play your part to strengthen your ties of kinship by coming together with your families to raise and give funds together as a family.

Allah’s Messenger said: “Giving charity to a poor person is Sadaqah, and giving to a relative is two things, Sadaqah and upholding the ties of kinship.” [Sunan an-Nasa’i]

Allah says in Surah An-Nur: “And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful” [Quran 24:22]

We all give to charities, especially in Ramadan.  But most families also need to support poor relatives and community members who very often have no other recourse.

Alternatively, many of us have a desire to make a bigger impact by pooling our charitable funds and giving to an existing local, national or international project.

Perhaps you have a specific charitable ambition that you’ve always wanted to achieve as a family, locally or abroad?

But in these busy times, liaising with everyone in your family to manage the whole process can be tiresome and complicated and usually means that things don’t get done.

This Ramadan, we’re here to make your family giving ambitions a reality. We’re launching our new family giving initiative to help family and private networks to come together to raise funds and support specific projects of their choosing.

You can do this by setting up a private page and sharing with specific people or you can spread the rewards by going public

We provide everything you need to outline your vision or charitable objectives, to share the pages, collate the funds and then ensure that you can disperse your funds towards your chosen projects over the holy month.

Your projects can include zakat eligible projects such as supporting poor family members or Sadaqah Jariyah projects such as the completion of that mosque or the water well that you’ve always talked about.

This is your opportunity to build a charity project with your family and friends network and to share in the rewards together.  Consider doing this as a memorial project for a loved one who is no longer here to share Ramadan with you.

It simply couldn’t be easier. Just click here to get started.
